Test Results. Confused.

So I'm quite sure I was recently infected for a plethora of reasons. Was tested for HSV 1&2 (IgM) before recent partner and was negative. Spent the weekend with the guy, within a week- surprise! When I went to the Dr my "spots" weren't at a stage to be swabbed so they did IgM and IgG for both types. They both came out negative.

 

Thing is, the spots ulcerated and HURT. Valtrex really helped and now there's almost no sign of them. The nurse is telling me that I don't have herpes because I'm "negative". I'm saying no and that my body just hadn't kicked in making even IgM yet because it's so new. Help? I'm going to attach a pic. Sorry if TMI, but I'd like opinions, please.

I feel like we attach pics and they all get removed, because I never see the pictures attached to anything?

That's unfortunate because it's so hard to find pics online that are clear and really show what they can look like. Especially for women.
