Female to female transmission rates?

Recommended Posts

Hello All!

So I am new to the forum but i was diagnosed with genital HSV1 about 6 or 7 years ago.  I am newly exploring my sexuality so a new question has come up.  What are the female to female transmission rates?  Does anyone have any info regarding this?  I have tried looking online but there doesn't seem to be much research on this.   I personally have not actually had an outbreak since the first one years and years ago.  I don't know if that makes any difference as far as transmission goes.

cheers!

Hey JosieP and welcome!

Check out our disclosure handout here where it breaks down all the transmission and shedding rates: https://herpeslife.com/opportunity/free-ebook-signup.html

The numbers relating to passing herpes to a woman applies here whether the person who has herpes is male or female.

Let us know if you have any more questions! I know it can be quite a confusing time, so we got your back.
