@WCSDancer2010 everytime I use google i get conflicting information that's why I come here I trust the information you guys provide more than google. since I'm on suppressive therapy that would cut down the percentage of transmission as well. After what I just went through I'm willing to Give them a try. I started this site in February and have went from wanting to die to coming to grips with my diagnosis. @wcsdancer@2010 so when we shed the virus is there anyway to tell how much? Where would I look to see what the minimal virus dose is? I definitely want to give them a try. I just wanted to make sure I knew all the information on them in regards to having H

I've read on some sites where it's safe to use lambskin condoms and on other sites it's not safe. Does anyone know which is true?

@wcsdancer2010 I knew I was sensative but.. Shit! I just knew H was out to get me. Just glad I didn't have an Ob. Men have no freaking idea what us women go through. I'm glad that this nurse listened to what I was saying and suggested I try benadryl. she was god sent today..

@whitedaises your got that I right. Once the pill started wearing off I felt a little discomfort. So I'll make sure to continue to take them. :-)

I finally got got a call from the nurse "since I emailed for pain meds" she advised me to go take another urine test for the uti symptoms. She also said I should try benadryl to see if I'm having a allergic reaction from the condom I used. I went on my lunch and picked some up and wholly batman.... The burning and throbbing are you gone. Im still a little irritated but I can handle that. I just wanted to share with everyone!

@mMissouri I don't have pain when urinating anymore. I just have urethra pain when I sit down. It's a burning /throbbing pain. but I I did read your turkey baster tip. Lol.. Im I'll definitely keep that in mind :-)

Just left the after hours clinic and was told it was a uti. There were no hsv symptoms present. My first urine test was positive the culture came back negative. The doctor told me to continue the antibiotics. These dangerous doctors are all over the place

@wcsdancer2010 will taking a bath with Epsom salt help with the irritation I'm having?

@fitgirl right. I had a problem with antivirals but i took @wcsdancers2010 suggestion and I've been OK ever since. I'm just going to find a new obgyn "after what happened today" Thank you and @wcsdancer2010 for all your help

So I get an email from my Dr's office saying I don't have a uti and that my symptoms could be hsv related.. If that's the case why did the nurse call me with a positive result and prescribe meds. Im going to the after hours clinic after work to get looked at. Im even more confused now

I m trying to get in to see my doctor I no longer have pain when I urinate now I have a burning irritated feeling. I'm thinking I have vaginosis or something. I Swear if it's not one thing its another.

Since I have a ppo insurance I can see any in network doctor I want. I'm wondering if I should see an infectious disease doctor and see if they can help me more with my hsv. Any advice?

@fitgirl I reside in California, I'm definitely going to look into taking a probiotic especially if it helps. I'm definitely going to take my time with sex, this whole situation has me extra nervous to try again. @whitedaiaes I take naproxen off and on. And right now I need to take some. I know you're right it's just so hard to stay positive. IIm definitely going go try the hot shower and see if that helps. I did notice a small cut and a small like ingrown hair looking pimple so I believe it's an ob. I'm just glad it wasn't a severe one. I just need to relearn my body. Thank you for all your positivity.
