First herpes outbreak - abnormal watery vaginal discharge and itch, but outbreak on anus?

So I got herpes from anal sex, outbreak began inside my bum and spread around the anus and bit crack... Blisters never made it to my vagina and I started antivirals and they stopped oozing and spreading.

 

Throughout my outbreak I have had a heavy, uncomfortable watery discharge with no distinct odor.... As mentioned antivirals helped and been healing for few days now but vaginal itch has gotten worse even though sores are healing... Is this part of the outbreak? It feels like a yeast infection, I felt inside and have no detectable sores or intense pain like the blistering lesions on my butt, just itch.... Don't know if this is a normal part of herpes or something else.... First outbreak and all....

Some do have the discharge ... but with the imbalance that your system is dealing with, it's worth having it checked to make sure you don't have a yeast infection going on.

 

Try the Epsom Salts baths as mentioned in another post ... it may help to sooth the itching... and dry with blow drier on low... follow directions in other post ;)

I had discharge during my primary and my next outbreak. It was yellow, clear and watery. Weird.

Thanks! Yeah I think it may have been herpes related even though the outbreak was on my behind..... The drugs are working well and discharge has subsided. Thanks to you both for your help! Going to see doctor next week.
