issues with forum

anyone having issues with the forum being wonky lately? I can be writing a comment and it will tell me error and I find im "offline" yet not according to my pc just the website. is it just me, the website or those pesky aliens again?

Its the server - there is so much traffic at times that it gets overloaded. Adrial upgraded the server about a month or 6 weeks ago, and it was fine for a few weeks but I've had a few errors in the last week or so. This site is growing by leaps and bounds which is a good thing and hopefully he can keep ahead of the growth :)

 

Right now he's balancing the cost of upgrading with income (as most of this has been out of his pocket) ... Hopefully the Home Study Courses and other sources of income will start to help to offset his costs soon because I know he has plans to upgrade the whole site at some point ...

Thanks for your patience with all this. Doing my best to balance everything and keep us going in a phased approach. And yes, the home course is being wrapped up as we speak and will be available soon! Investing in it will be like hitting two birds with one stone (I wish there were a less brutal analogy): Get an awesome course that will help you transform your shame into inspiration AND your contribution will support H Opp in upgrading the forum, growing and helping more and more people. Win-win. :)

I noticed this morning, it didn't do the turn blue thing when I posted and said draft saved. normally when I post a discussion it turns blue and opens a comment box under. this may be the confusion that leads to double posting.

Every time I post it doesn't look like it went through at all ... I've learned to just copy the conversation and then go to the Discussions to make sure it went through :p
