I almost did the worst thing ever

You didn't do it! It's okay! You seem to know it would've been a mistake if you did end up sleeping with him without telling him - judging by the title of your post. Don't be so hard on yourself, urges are natural and you certainly aren't lacking a conscience. If you're worried about being in that position again, stay away from places where sex is a possibility.

Well, sounds like if you are likely to make bad decisions when you are drunk, you need to learn to control how much you drink ... not let yourself get to that situation .... ;)

AND

Keep working on being ok with rejection ... knowing that it's not about you ... it's just a deal breaker. Because if you were ok with rejection you would have told him ;)

It's ok to not be ok with rejection ... AND .. you can learn to be ok with it ... keep working at it.... ;)

Try these links - I used to be devastated by rejection ... after "getting" the info in the first link, I finally realized that this is something that is an automatic response AND I don't have to let that "primitive-brain-reaction" run my life. It was a HUGE revelation ... life changing. Now my outlook is ... "You "reject" me - your loss, and thank you for getting out of the way so I am open and available for the man who will accept me and all my "stuff" ... including herpes. Good luck dealing with the nut jobs, the high maintenance women, the gold diggers, and the jealous crazies .... ;) "
