How long before Valtrex reduces viral shedding?

Hey guys!

 

I haven't been taking medication for awhile, because I haven't been sexually active lately. I just met a new person. Disclosure went great. He actually had an ex who had it. So it's time to take things to the next level. I started taking my meds again two days ago. My question is how long before it reduces viral shedding and it makes safer to have sex?

I believe Terri warren said 5 days of taking it religiously....not skipping any dosages or leaving too many time gaps between pills. I would say minimum 5 days. Ur pharmacist should know too.

I always waited 10 days - just to be sure ... and in the grand scheme of things, that's not a lot of time and you can have a lot of fun getting frisky in the meantime :)
