To a point yes. As it has to constantly go after it and guard it in the sacral ganglia, which makes it stay in latency. When your immune system gets lowered from stress, illness or whatever is someone's trigger, the immune system gets distracted and for some unknown reasons, our immune system gets distracted, forgets about guarding the virus at the ganglia and goes after say a new infection . this is when the virsu likes to come back out if latency. After it comes out, the immune system will eventually realize something is wrong and come back after it and run it back into the ganglia.

 

For some of us, like myself who have autoimmune diseases, it has further suppressey immune system that it responds w triggering can onic fatigue in me. W out antivirals. Even on antivirals, I have mild ibs just about daily.
