Dental Dams

Have any of you used dental dams before? Where do you buy them? And do you find them to still make oral sex enjoyable? Have partners been open to using them? So many questions, but I've never used one before and I worry that they will make sex awkward and less enjoyable.

I've never used one, but you can buy them online or you can make them. I've heard of people using latex gloves and condoms (cut them to where they make a good sized barrier, and then rinse them off. Or you can use saran wrap (not the microwavable type because it has tiny holes).

 

But if you buy them, you can get them flavored.

 

As for it being less enjoyable, I'm sure it doesn't feel the exact same. I've read that you can put a water based lube on the genitals before covering them with the barrier so that there is still a glide/wetness. You might want to mark the side you are using so that you don't get them confused if it were to get misplaced. If you flip it around, it defeats the purpose.
