Burning prodome sensation

Can anyone tell me what the burning sensation feels like for prodome GHSV1. How long does it last for? Hours? Days? thanks

Hey scm! Prodrome is different for everyone (and some people don't feel prodromee at all), but most common way it's felt is either as an itching sensation, a "sunburn" semsation or nerve pain in the legs/butt/groin area.

how long would the burning last for? a couple minutes or days? I only ask because 2 years ago I woke up with a burning sensation on the genital skin-sunburn sounds right. It happened the next night as well. I can't remember how long this was before i noticed a very small irritation with bumps.

 

Im confused because have always thought my hsv1 was oral. I know i had a small coldsore last year. Now looking back I'm not quite sure what to think and i was never swabbed orally or genitally but only had blood work done.
