Never will I google would you date some one with herpes on yahoo answers the answers are so horrible and have destroyed what ever confidence I had :(

Google/Yahoo is not a good idea unless you are looking for RELIABLE sources. Drama queens and ugly people go out and LOOK for that kind of thing and love to stir the pot and make ignorant remarks. Remember, those are not the people you want in your life anyway.... so look for sources where people have a positive, uplifting outlook on life... (Like this site!) - you not only will get better information, you will be more likely to meet someone that loves you AND your H-friend.

Majority of people who don't have it is just ignorant of it, so to a degree you can't blame their insensitive statements. (They don't understand that one day it could easily be them or that it may be them already and they aren't aware of their status.) But there are plenty dating success stories out there... just believe that one day you'll have one :)
