3 negative herpes Elisa tests (10 weeks, 6 months and 10 months post exposure)

 

1 positive hsv1 blood test (7.5 months post exposure)

 

No swabs oral or genitsl positive

 

I don't know what to think....guess western blot?!

I don't know much about all the tests available ... But from what I've read on here.... I guess western blot too!

As I told you elsewhere, WB seems to be the next step ... perhaps if you call them they can tell you where to go across the nearest border ....

 

Sorry you are still dealing with this ... one thing, Immunoblot ( i think you said that your H+ result was that one) tests for 2 proteins, Elissa only tests for 1, which may account for why you got the + result on that one .... :/

Yes. There is also the possibility of cross reactivity I guess or false positive. I had mono the same time I got my positive. I dunno.

 

I have a feeling I am positive but western blot will confirm. I am gonna do it.

 

I am just tired of ambiguity.
