Valtrex allergy?

I've been taking Valtrex twice a day for about a week now (1000mg pills). But the day before yesterday I started getting itchy but it's been in random places at random times, yesterday my arms broke out in hives and today it's my upper back. Has anyone else had this problem or one like it?

I've never heard of Valtrex causing hives. But your best bet is to call your doctor because if you're having that kind of allergic reaction then you need to have a conversation with them about that
