Herpes antibodies on igg test?

Hello and Welcome!

The numbers on a test are not always indicative of exactly when you were exposed.

1.3 is a low positive ... within the range of possible false positives ... (between 1.1 and 3.5 has a 40% chance of being a false positive) so at this point, if you have not had any symptoms, that result isn't 100% accurate. I'd retest at 4 months post exposure with an IgG ... if your number is under 3.5 and you have no symptoms I'd suggest you do the Western Blot which you have to do through Westover Heights ... normal IgG tests only look for 1 protein and can get confused with other proteins in the body... the WB looks for 14 proteins and is a LOT more accurate...
