Help! My doctor prescribed me 30 mg of prednisone that I really need to take for an autoimmune disease, but I'm terrified and avoiding it because I think it will cause an insane ob and flu symptoms. They increased my valtrex, but I already get obs all the time as it is. What should I do?

What autoimmune diseases do you have? I have a couple as well. I would request to be put in low does LDN. We have this theory that autoimmune disease means our immune system is over active, so we should suppress it, but it actually needs to be modulated, not suppressed. Low dose LDN dkes that and boost your immune system and gas helped w treating those w persistent herpes obs. I have the same issue as you. Constant symptoms, even on daily meds. Does your doc knkw about your H?

The LDN can modulate the immune system from attacking itself and should eliminate the need for steroids. Of course, everything is trial and error, but I'd try that first w the low dose LDN

I have rhumatologist appointment at end of nov but I haven't been diagnosed with any immune problem yet. Although I must have one...I have had ob multiple times a month for two years. Never lesions just red bumps.

No cause I've been working like a f'ing maniac for 3 months or more straight and pulling all nighters to get projects done, so I canceled all my apots until I get these high visibility projects done.
