Valacyclovir

Hi everyone. I got infected with genital herpes type 1 2 years ago. I have not had an outbreak since my initial outbreak. I am currently talking to this boy who I know wants to have sex with me and I do too but I am scared of giving it to him. I have tried to take Valaclovir to help reduce my transmission but it gives me terrible headaches.  has anyone tried taking acyclovir for suppression?

I have been taking it for 3 months and I’m now starting to feel nauseous everyday but o won’t stop taking it bc I don’t want any outbreaks and I’m scared I’ll become higher risk for transmission if I stop
