Recommended Posts

Its been about 2 weeks since the outbreak showed up on my leg ...when it was almost gone more sores showed up right beside them ...my leg has almost healed just scabbed over and now they r popping up on my inner thigh. ..I took the medicine the er gave me about a week ago it was only a 3day supply ..should I try to get more meds?

You may also want to pay more attention to what you are eating. You may have a trigger food. Also, if you have been sick with a flu or cold or some kind of other infection beside H your immune system may be taxed. If you've been under stress that can cause prolonged outbreaks.

Sorry - this got buried ... I was in a hotel but the reception in the room sucked so I didn't get on much.

Yes - I'd get more meds ... I personally keep some on hand and as soon as I feel my prodromes I start taking them ... at this point I can usually take it for about 2 days and it stops it dead in it's tracks.

And the food triggers are a definite thing to check into ... and they may change over time depending on your stress levels and hormones...
