Increased desire for sex just prior to herpes outbreak

I have had HSV2 for some years and have noticed increase desire just prior to noticing an outbreak. I suggest that the virus is somehow responsible for that. Has anybody noticed this as well ?

@David I can't say I have experienced that.... I am H+ for 15+ years. It may be that you are just horny at certain times ;) not sure if there is a correlation....

That's a new one to me ... but everyone's prodromes are different too ... so it's interesting that you noticed that ...

if you are having sex after that increased desire, perhaps THAT is causing the OB's? Exp if the sex is particularly rough - THAT is definitely a known cause of OB's in some :p

I can only hypothesize that the virus being the parasite that it is has an ability to somehow come at the opportune time. I suggest more than a coincidence.
