Outbreaks at the same time every month

I was wondering if any ladies out there have outbreaks seemingly at the same time every month. Mine last a while ... a little over a week. I am on birth control, I am not sure if it may have something to so with that or my cycle in general?

My other question is has anyone found that destin works? I ride horses for a living, and I need to try some new things to keep my butt in the saddle during OBs.

I have noticed mine are worse at same time every month. Usually right before my period. Have also found that when I am on birth control my outbreaks are worse

I had them every month the week of my period, always in the same spot. Haven't had one since I've been on valtrex though.

I am on Valtrex and I get the outbreaks pretty regularly.

I am on valtrex too and get outbreaks constantly. You are not alone!

Definitely there can be a link between hormonal fluctuations and OB's..

@girlnamedhope I so feel your pain. I am hoping that as time does on they will get less and less. Do you have any products that you swear by?

I've only tried a few on the list but the only thing I have found is helpful to me is reducing stress.

That is very impossible for me to do at the moment. Stress is crazy right now. I have found that stress plays a huge part. So frustrating. lol

If the other things don't help at all and you find that stress is your trigger, I wonder if you have something else going on that's complicating things. I remember you have interstitial cystitis ... which I see can be caused by an autoimmune reaction ... so you may want to look into a Rheumatologist ... things like Behcets Syndrome can cause genital lesions as well as rashes/nerve pain/abdominal pain/etc ... so I'd want to get that ruled out ...
