L-Lysine and Coconut Oil

Recommended Posts

This has been probably been discussed here, but reviews for several products in Amazon are as high as 4.5 with thousands of reviewers for L-Lysine supplementsa and Coconut Oil for prevention or making outbreaks less troublesome.

Are you using any L-Lysine / Coconut Oil products?  Is it working well for you?  I would appreciate if you can let me know the brand and how do you use it like frequency and all.

Thank you for your answers in advance!

I have been taking it for almost a year, 2000mg a day. No outbreaks!

Okay so I bought these 2 products:

This is a lip ointment (https://amzn.to/2EbWw8F) and this is the supplement (https://amzn.to/2Q4wbxX).

So pretty much, I use the lip ointment when i feel like the tingling or visual redness on my lip, or just my lip is pretty dry then i use this, it feels good and taste good in my opinion.  It's kind of on the shiny side, so i kinda dont wear that much if i'm out in public, but seems perfect for people who prefers shiny lip ointments.

I'm also trying the 'supplement', i take this as my suppression for about 3 weeks now (i dont want to keep using valacyclovir 500mg -- because i feel like it's so unnatural).  i felt an ob coming 6 days ago but nothing popped up, maybe this + lip ointment is helping?

I'll keep everyone posted, so far so good with the L-Lysine!  I still wanna try the coconut oil soon, i still havent bought any of it yet. 🙂

Its actually low. My doctor recommends 3000mg daily. Most research ive done on my own suggest 3000mg daily as well. Recommended in increments of 1000mg 3x daily. I take 1000mg 2x daily.
