Well here they dont usually swab, they only do blood tests and my doctor says its not necessary to take any more tests. I think I will look for another doctor. I just thought that nightmare was gone eell the blisters I have now almost dont have liquid and are so much more smaller than my first possible outbreak. They dont look the same. Also no redness or swallow area.

1 year ago I had a suspicion of herpes outbreak had some blisters down there but after when I did the tests it never came out positive, even after more than 6 months. Once it came out undetermined to HSV 2 and negative to HSV1. 3 months after I redid the test and this time it came out undetermined to HSV1 and negative to HSV2. How can it be? My doctor assured now it wasnt herpes because I never felt pain, just some itchy and she says it could be anything else. I didnt have another outbreak since then so I believed her but I am worried and stressed because I have 2 blister there it could be ingrown hair since I shaved last week but I dont know its scary. I have a new partner now and I never told him about it because my doctor assured it wasnt herpes. What do you think?

Since I found out I had herpes 6 months ago I havent experienced an outbreak, just the initial one. But I have had red spots on the back of my thighs right down my butt. It started over a month ago and I am confused because I dont feel anything, its not itchy or sore and I think if it was an outbreak it should have cleared out by now. Plus my first outbreak happened on my ladies parts only and not on the back of my tighs. Do you think it could be an allergy or something else? Should I take the famciclovir pills? I would like to know what you guys think about if it could be or not an outbreak.

I remember that when I was diagnosed I felt itch all over, also thought I've got it all over then I realized it was probably in my head and never felt it again. Our brain can do a lot of things. I hope you and your husband will be ok. xoxo

I felt all this on my first outbreak, I actually thought I've got a flu, then during the outbreak I had sore throat, the gum around my last tooth got inflamed and my nose got running for more than one month but now I'm ok and healthy. xxx

I felt the same way when I had to tell to my mom and sis, I thought they would get disapointed and tell me bad things but they didnt and still treat me the same too so I think we do all the storm in our mind, anyway I still feel so bad about having herpes, its like I cant forgive myself. I have had it for 5 months now.

Famciclovir works very well for me. You should try it.

my gyn doctor said that I probably haf the canker sores and herpes (genital) outbteak at the same time because my immune system was probably down.

Thank you Adrial. I have gone to 2 different dentists, they took a look and said it was not herpes, that herpes looks different but didnt do a culture test. So do you think hsv2 can not cause canker sores? Then theres a lot of wrong info on the internet.

Im so sorry your mother takes things this way, actualy I thought my mother would do the same thing and think very low of me but for my surprise, she didnt, she was supportive and gave me some consolation. I alredy think things are being difficult for me but I can only imagine what you going through. Well, we are not the virus, we are still the same people we used to be before it happens. We dont feel normal now but eventualy things will come to terms. Love u :)

Same thing happened to me. The man who gave me H claims he never had any synthoms and that he does not have it. I told him to get tested but he didnt. I also feel bad because it seems like I did something wrong or I am the guilty one. Felt left behind in the moment I needed support the most. I totally understand what you are saying. Had my days feeling dirty and worthless but now I'm making efforts to feel better.

Well, I would talk to him about what is on his mind. Have a honest talk with him, try to get to know how he feels about the risk of getting herpes and explain him there are ways tolower the risk. I hadnt got into a relationship before the herpes thing but I hope I was abble to help you somehow.

I have been concerned about sores on the inside of my mouth if it could be herpes. I have always had canker sores since I was a kid. But it was one at a time. Maybe its a coincidence but after I got herpes (genital) they show up in 2 and once in 3, so I wonder if now its herpes causing the sores. I have HSV2 and wondering if I could have got it on mouth too due to oral sex. In case its herpes, would it feel different from a normal canker sore? would I feel itchy too?

I am taking the L-lysine and it seems to be helping. But I also take C vitamin and zinc everyday.
