Dr.'s office called w/more of my herpes test results

So my blood test came back I have HSV 1 & 2 Happy New Year to me!! Wow can this get ne worse?!

I do, too! Woohoo! The 2-for-1 club! ;) It's not worse, hon. It just is. 80% of people have HSV-1, so if you DIDN'T have that, you'd be in the extreme minority. Keep things in perspective so you don't dig yourself into a hole, okay? Soooo important! :) Big hug to you. We continue to be here for you, regardless of how many viruses are swimmin' around with you.

Me Three!! Yup - I got a two fer too......HSV1 since I was about 3 - HSV2 since about 17. Yeah - I started my sexual life with a bang... :P

 

Thankfully back then noone made a big deal of it. I don't know what I would have thought about it if I knew what I know now at 17 :(

Gawd what I would do to do it over again with the knowledge I have now. At 17 I was still trying to figure out how to put it in.

Yeah - I got charmed by the older guy who was showing interest in me (you know,, the typical story of half the females out there). I just hit the jackpot with the first one. My mom found out and that was the end of that. Never heard from him again. I guess I should be thankful I didn't get pregnant...talk about a sexually transmitted condition that sticks with you for life... /:)
