Has anyone had any changes in there menstrual cycle while having hsv

Well I'm not 100% sure if I have been infected but has anyone had changes to there menstrual cycle when you first got infected? Just a general question? I know you can be more likely to get BV and yeast infection but how about changes to your menstrual cycle?

I heard herpes doesn't affect your menstrual cycle. My cycle did get a lil funky, but I had been dealing with yeast infections also and stressing over school and my new diagnosis probably didn't help.

Does yeast infection affect menstrual cycles cuz when I get yeast infection my cycle tends to be all out of wack

Doctor told me a yeast infection does not, but perhaps the antibiotics do affect it. I didn't ask about that tho!

@desertlove probably stress then cuz once I feel a yeast infection coming up I stress about it

For the last several years I have not been regular, only having it once twice a year, but I doubt it's h related, probably age

 

Stress can reak all kinds of things on our bodies

STRESS has a far higher chance of causing issues with your period than Herpes ever will. The only time I ever skipped a period was when I was under a lot of stress. I was regular as clockwork otherwise :)

@WCSDancer2010 I haven't missed a period it was just very light this month I usually have it 4-5 days and this month I only had it 2-3 days yeah same here I am always regular and usually get the around the same time every month I guess it was either stress or like @Bambina3 I'm getting old lol and weight also heard can have affect on the your cycle

@2Legit2Quit yup I'm 27 already maybe age is taking effect on me already lol hopefully it's that wah I'm getting old lol
