  1. What AV are you on? And my bf might already have it. We don't know. He doesn't seem too concerned about the risk but that's because he hasn't read the stories I've read. :( he thinks it will present in him like it does for me...not the case. Just worried.
  2. Thank you Katidid!!! You have a great memory!!! Did you ever get over the fear of transmitting it to your hubs? It's hindering our relationship big time! And I have been prescribed AV's, I guess I'm just scared if I take them everyday my immune system won't handle the virus as well? Whether this is a legitimate fear I don't know...but I have started eating again and trying to get back into the swing of things!
  3. I'm sorry you're going through this I'm 26 about to be 27, I know it sucks... but everyone keeps saying it'll get better!
  4. Maybe tell them you're in a relationship and you don't want to pass it on? Also I hear the U.K. Has sexual health clinics you can go to to get them!
  5. You should probably dilute the tea tree oil first!
  6. I've heard tea tree oil, lemon balm, manuka honey and even desiring cream are all good!
  7. I think that if the two of you take the time to get to know each other and really like one another it's ones of those I'd rather risk it than be without you type things...just my opinion.
  8. I've heard changing your diet can help too like avoiding nuts, oats and chocolate! Eat lots of vegetables and drink lots of water! Also epsom salt baths and diluted tea tree oil (look this up first)... Xoxo
  9. You can try natural supplements!! Lysine, vitamin D, Vitamin B, red marine algae, oil of oregano etc. (all supplements) and for external use I like coconut oil and Manuka honey! :) you may research the supplements and figure out if it's something that you'd want to try! I'm just big on natural remedies...totally up to you! But if you go medication route then acyclovir is another common medication!
  10. You'll still be "perfect" to a man that truly loves you! I hate that you're going through this, I'm right here with you though. It's hard but I don't think God would give either of us anything we can't handle! In a strange way I think there's something good that's going to come from this; whether it's having a healthier lifestyle or finding out who's truly there for us. Xoxo
  11. Oh okay...I'm 26! So sorry you're going through this so young, sweet girl!
  12. Keep a positive attitude!!! There IS someone great for you out there!
  13. So sorry that it may not work out with this guy but let me tell you that a guy who wants to be with you forever will accept all of you!!! Have you been on Dr. Kelly Shuh's blog? Or the Yoshi website? For some reason those stories really uplift me when I'm feeling how you're feeling.
  14. I'm a 26 year old female living in Texas willing to talk on here?
  15. ^^^ I always wonder if people meet on here too...how old are you by the way? Sounds like you're about my age.
  16. I've heard adding epsom salt to your bath helps...also look into tea tree oil!
  17. You should be able to click on it and download it, it's on the left side of the page! :)
  18. So sorry you're going through this, you're not alone. I too feel like my confidence has been shaken. We're going to get through this!
  19. There are many possible scenarios...I'm no expert but 1.) you could have unknowingly passed hsv1 to him orally (or he could've already had as 2/3 of people do) and he could've transmitted it to you during oral sex. 2.) he could have hsv2 without knowing it and passed it to you, I think 80% of people with hsv2 don't know it Bc they're either asymptomatic or their symptoms are really mild.
  20. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I too am a young Christian woman, lost my virginity at 21 (much later than my friends)...I'm 26 now and just recently diagnosed. I am not currently on any medication, I have very mild symptoms. Some natural things that have worked for me are coconut oil for any irrigation down there, lysine tablets, vitamin D, vitamin c, oil or oregano supplements, olive leaf supplements...but if you're having horrible outbreaks go to planned parenthood and pay out of pocket (75$ for the doctor to look at you and prescribe you meds) the medication acyclovir shouldn't be too expensive! Good luck! I'm praying for you, I know this is hard! You're not alone! Remember God would never give you anything you cannot handle!
  21. I currently have a yeast infection due to antibiotics...could these small pin size flat sores be an outbreak? I've never had a visual outbreak before.
