  1. What a cute story! Thanks for sharing! I didnt know animals could get h too!?? I geuss anything is possible for any living! xox
  2. From what ive learned is the shedding happens in the same spot, so a regular condom wont cover that area, maybe ask the girl if she's comfortable trying a female condom? They look funny, but They're latex free, and pretty simple to use, she just has to insert itfirst.. ( i havnt tried one yet beccause im not seeing anyone atm) but it covers her vaginal area, its probably the safest bet...?
  3. Hi, im new to hsv and this site, and quite literally just sent another person this same msg, but maybe it will help u? I literally just came home from a bar, (which i never go to clubs...) but anywho, i didnt drink tonight, met a super nice dude, and on our drive back home our convo got super personal. we only kissed... but then he told me he wanted to see me again... i ended up telling him i was tested positive for hsv2 and im in no way ready to be intimate with anyone in the near future, he wasnt scared, he accepted my bravery, and asked to see ne again this weekend .. no bar this next time.. i said yes.. ive only been diagnosed jan 3rd, but this site helped me to be brave. try to remove the stigma... u are worth everything. its just, if hes still responding, and all, u shouldn't feel regret telling him. Or any embarrassment, i do understand what ur going through, but seriously... he obviously doesnt mind! think of it as a zit!... the embarrassment goes away after a couple days right???? -ashley

  5. I told an ex partner that i was diagnosed with hsv2, and that he should be tested because i didnt kno if he gave it to me or me to him...., he was shocked, but replied with "well its not the end of the world right? You're not on your death bed, neither am i, ill book an apt tomorrow.." i wasnt seeing him at the time when i found out, and i was nervous to make the call... it was an unnexpected boost of confidence
