Does anyone no for sure that if you have had cold sores in the past that you can't get them in genitals? Has anyone talked to someone that has H1 in both places? I have type one and had only 1 OB last November. I am having ongoing nerve pain in back and the area of OB on penis head. I can tell the skin is still getting irritated from virus turning red and tip can be sensitive to the touch and has lost other good feeling due to that burning sensation? So I am still thinking I can pass it on while having sex with wife that has had cold sores? I can feel it in that hole area is getting beat by this infection to me it feel like what I have been told other std feel like (clap and gonna) and read that H can precinct exactly the same if infecting urethra.thats how I have felt for months at first only being able to pee in tub.does this ever end? I have been tested for everything else 2 times.

Where is your nerve pain? I am having it in my lower back and right where I had my only OB. Seems to be pretty common from other blogs I have read.my skin will turn red then fad in same area of my ob I thought it was prodome but never has stops.please let me know if you find any thing that helps.

I am having back pain without taking anything have tried Anti viral and Lycine? Fit girl you had the symptoms for 6months? Im like you I know I didn't hurt it anyway and that this is h related.

Yep that's what I have been told that my first OB was due to stressing out over things I did and not taking care if myself.? I test high pos after only two weeks and have been told for that I have had it awhile?i am have the feeling of constant prodrome.i seen you say it was like a year before you felt better? I think might have some nerve damage or phn my first OB was nov 2014 and have felt off down there it seems to be very common from H1? Did you ever feel all normal after that year?

Same thing is still going on not sure what to do at this point.i have had therapy and it really hasn't helped not finding any joy out of life.i feel like walking dead then the feeling of I might as we'll be is right there.i have my wife and baby are the only thing that is stoping me from doing the unthinkable I don't want to have them to live with that pain but don't want to make them miserable with me. I want to be happy just can't seem to make myself snap out of this. I lost two good friend from my actions way before this they were like brothers hung out everyday now I stuck by myself and feel like biggest pos that I am.sorry just have no one else to talk to.

How common is this I'm going on a month with this messed up back it is making me miserable.

I have had sex a few times and always thinking I am going to pass it on because of the constant feelings I'm having. To me it's just crazy that it can infected the area for that long. People with oral hsv1 don't seem to have the symptoms as bad or as long. I'm with you on the everyday part praying I can just feel like I did.seems like some go back to feel normal some never do? Almost everyone I talked to on here with Ghsv1 has the lingering prodroms.Vets can you really say that you ever go back to feeling like you did post H ?

From what strep b?i went to urologist told him I felt it was from herpes and he said if the restriction is getting better just give it time. What is this you are talking about? I have tested pos for hsv1

I will try anything I have talked with a few vets on here and see where a lot of other people have same problem.but don't see it to much on here. I would take any info I can get on how to relive this pain it's the main problem at the moment going on 3 or more weeks.still have tingling and burn when I have to pee figured that would be gone by now.my skin is also still sensitive I could tell when wife and I had sex and she was rubbing it in her felt raw? That skin should be more than healed?its like the nerves are not letting it heal. Thanks for all input. I am just hoping for a day i can't tell I have this virus as of now it load and clear every day.

Did a doc tell you you had post viral and what did they say about it. I don't want to spend the rest of my life feeling this way.

I am having the lower back pain everyday with a irritated penis? That is why I'm still so down I feel like shit. I was a pain to be around when I got a cold this has made me a miserable person.i just tried to do my life passion and was having pain in my balls and my penis is irritated right at the opening. It's driving me crazy do you think a suppressive scrip of anti viral will nock that out? I have no sore just this great feelings daily.

This has me in a really bad place. I have lost my spunk don't feel like myself when I'm around friends or anytime.had a falling out with a few good friends before this happened so that's tuff to add in the mix.I went to therapist one time and have tried to get my wife to go but has not had the time.I know you have a choice to be happy but how can you just snap out of it?i keep looking back at all the messed up stuff I was doing and just feels like I had all of this coming to me. I was at the highest point in my life being a new dad that's why I feel so down I should just be just thankful my lil one is heathy and my wife still loves me somehow . For some reason I was acting like idiot and thinking that I could just go get some strange and everything would stay the same.my eye has been twitching for the past 3 days not sure what that's about all the moping around or looking at this phone four months on end or H ? I have H 1 also to me it seems just as bad I have only had one outbreak with sores but feel very off down there with a super sore back and tingling everyday a bunch? How long have you had it I'm on 6 months or less but have same feeling as day one. Has it got better for you? Do you feel weird in you genitals?The one good thing I guess your less likely to pass it on? If the other person has cold sore's it's very low to pass in other areas? Just want to know if this feeling that I have will ever go away. Thanks for any info you have.

I am told it gets better with time? Then I see people suffering from same thing for years?The pains itch,tingle,swollen without any sores.my wife that no one could tell her it was H has had sensitive vagina,discharge,pain in her abdomen and lower back.She was seen just seen the other day to see if it was Gull bladder that came back normal as did all other test.Do these symptoms really go away? What I would do for us to just feel normal again.From the way I feel they have not changed one bit?

Let me know if you find out it something else seeing were are having same symptoms I went to a specialist that was a joke. but have not seen a dermatologist. Thanks

Yes we are having all of the same issues I might be a little further along than you I found out this past late November.my red skin seems to come and go at his point?i had the peeling to only thing I can think it is viral shedding like crazy?Also had the burning in taint that's when I really new something was wrong was on car ride and could feel the heat / burning. That also comes in goes at this point.it has gave me a lot other irritation and problems with UT . Hope you don't have to deal with that! It sucks

I hope things get better! For you and you man.this to has really messed are sex life up. I have the off feeling every day.are you having this feelings when your not having outbreak ? I have only had the one but still feel like its lingering around? My penis always feels weird,irritated and more frequent urge to pee? I pray this feeling goes away. for all of us that are suffering from this.
