Are you suuuure you have it orally though? Did you get the ob swabbed? Did it look like a typical cold sore on your lip? Or did it look different?

I quit the lysine back then...I started taking oregano oil capsules... I haven’t had an outbreak since then (I hate even saying that out loud Bc I don’t want to jinx myself lol). I don’t know if it’s from the oregano oil or just my body adjusting to the virus...I also take a multivitamin but I’ve always pretty much taken those. I also don’t know if it’s wine that’s my trigger lol. Looking back all three of my outbreaks were when I drank Red wine for a few days in a row. I haven’t had wine since then as well (definitely had all other types of alcohol tho!) I’m planning on testing the wine theory at some point but probably not til after the holidays haha.

Are u sure it’s H and not just hemorrhoids? Hemorrhoids can be itchy too

My money’s on man 1...but you know there is actually no possible way of knowing... but a scratch? I don’t have a penis but I’m thinking it’s not too often they get “scratches” 🤔 How have you been feeling since you’ve healed? Did they ever give you a confirmed diagnosis or tell you which type?

Ok so...Christian here too... The good thing about our God is that He forgives...He knows we are sinners, and loves us anyways. I need to take my own advice here, as I’ve been super hard on myself lately and haven’t made the best decisions. Just writing this is making me feel better and making me realize that we are humans and God knows this. I’m gonna go say the rosary and start fresh. Good luck to you ❤️

What made you decide to do suppressive therapy if you’ve never had symptoms? Just for transmission purposes?

@annalove Your situation sounds a lot like mine...ob’s sound the same too...do you have to call your doctor every time you need meds or do you have a standing script? I’ve yet to use any medication...

Ah okay...maybe ill up it...I’ll try 1000mg 2x per day maybe...

Thank you for checking back in and giving us newbies an update. Your post is very hopeful. 😊 Have you noticed a difference in your ob’s over the past two years? Aside from the stigma I’m so paranoid constantly about ob’s...when will they happen/will it be worse than the one before/etc...

Just curious as to what most of you put topically on an outbreak (if anything...or do you let it be)? I've been doing rubbing alcohol on a q-tip...not sure if it does anything but if sure feels like it is.

Are you sure your HSV is causing your tailbone pain? There’s a thing called a pilonidal cyst that can cause the same tailbone pain you’re talking about...

No, no antiviarals...I wanted to see how my body reacts to the virus before deciding on it.

I haven’t been taking it long enough to say if it’s working or not but I havent had an ob since I started it...it’s only been month though

@MarsAttack mine do not scab...it just fade away... it does hurt/burn the first day like a cut

Oh I didn’t even think of this!...but I polished off a jar of nutella in three days (not one of my finer moments) a few weeks ago...I think it’s been long enough to say it didn’t cause anything for me

It doesn’t hurt to actually pee but it burns when the pee hits the cut...in my case anyway

Why did ya stop if it helped? It’s just an amino acid...many athletes take it as well. Dont cut out foods just yet. Your body might just need some time to build up antibodies
