Agree with tje several factors part deffintaly. but to be taking that much lysine u should talk to a doc or a pharmasist who knows more. i was told no more than 3000 mg a day. For no longer than 6 mo ths.. Drom the bc health line.

I think youll be fine. I know loootttss of my old girlfriends have had ch. And still proceeded with babies. One girl had it twice and shes not worried about it. Keep happy thoughts, whatever happens, happens, and something beautiful will be a result. Regardless if its what u thought u wanted or not.

Only way to know is a swab. Cuz u could have had hsv1 orally and never knew it so a blood test cant tell u where. i dont think its nerve dammage.usually a good way to get nerve dammage is by using too much lydocain ointment or jelly directly on the sore for a long time.... maybe get a secind opinion from planned parenthood?

What @inka said. As for the break up, sorry to hear! Never easy learning how to be on ur own when youve been with someone for a while. Hope ur ok! also, theres nota whole lot to worry about. Once you have focused on you and your amazing features, a disclosure with a future partner wont seem so difficult. And thats a promise. I used to think disclosing would be hard, but i took some time to learn about h, myself, and what i like and want in a relationship, and bam outa the blue i met a guy. Its anonamous... so all they would get is a phone call asking to get tested. They dont say where theyre from.. And i told the past 2 men i was with. 1st guy i dated for a short while. 2nd guy stupid one nighter.. first guy i dated was shocked but took it well. Was supportive. Listened to me cry, made me feel pretty again. second guy (which i now know IS infact my giver considering the series of events and all the blood tests i took.) He freaked shit on me say theres no way in fucking hell he has ir or gave it to me. That i was a phsyco. And to get my trampy self checked for other stds. it blew up in my face. I gave him all the stats. I explained my tests and bloods teats to him. Complete asshole. And then he fucked a girl i know for a while and didnt tell her so i told her. now hes fucking some other chick and hasnt told her either. And thanks to him and one of my now ex best friend the whol town knows i have it. Drama galor. im not ready to be out of the herpes closet. And they chose to do it for me. Thats why i say get the doc to do a anonamous call. unless you feel comfortable telling them yourself. The way i see it.. the past is the past. Look forward to ur future, and do the right thing from here on out. Unless you care about the ones in ur past enough to let them kno this about u.

@girlafraid , So tthe tough love has already been stated... i will not throw in any more. How to solve? Call up the guy. Ask to see him. Go for a coffee or something. A place where you guys can talk privatly, with no interuptions. And no sexual intend. Maybe say something along the lines of " so i have kept something from you, and even though i should have told you sooner, im going to tell you now. I have hsv. Do you know what that is? Then feed him off some stats that @Adrial has posted in his e- handout. give him some time to comprehend what u have said. let him ask questions. You can tell him that at first you didnt think it would matter if you told him or not, but now you have learned other wise. Appologise even for not saying sooner. Then ask him if he knows of any stds he mifht have, and suggeat going to get tested for everyhing together. However it happens, keep us posted! We'll be here for ya!

I agree with @FLNewH , The chemicals in a pool or hot tub would kill the virus. and if you are in and out of the water i cant see it tranmitting when u are out of the water... wheres dancer when we need her!!!???
