If that is what they were doing, then the cdc website, and this forum wouldnt show up on google search.people who have hiv or aids wouldnt be alowed to date. and people with imune diseases or disorders like myself would have died off years ago. I just wanted to add... i.m.o. there is no lesser evil than the other with herpes. as i have g-hsv2, and minor o.b. that i can still funtion with. an old friend of mine has oral hsv, and passed it via oral sex to her bf, and he has horrid o.b.s down south. alas... everyone is very different.. and every body is different, thus the herpes virus 1 or 2 react differently to different people...

Maybe look up trigger foods. not saying he has to cut out all the trigger foods that are listed... but just untill things calm diwn a bit!?

My one o.b is a tiny smally sore left to my clit and even weeks after its healed and gone and not tender... when my bf and i have sex we usually fool around a bit and my c. Is so sensitive it hurts sometimes... talk about awkward eh? But i found if we use a lil lube then for some reason its not so bad...

3 times a day! My goodness hoe long have u been doin this? Im on valtrex 500 mg once a day for suppressive therapy. i only take 2 a day if i think i feel a prodrom or an o.b. comming along. and i only do it twice a day for max a week... My pharamsist said 3 moths to 9 months for suppressive. But im gonna be on it longer as i now have a b.f. to help keep hime safe from transmission. Also, the horrible horror stories u read about dont always happen. Mine for example have been MINOR compared to some stories. and i hav hsv2-g. And with time if u get o.b. they tend to lessen with severity with time.

Life throws u curve balls sometimes. and its doesnt matter if you catch the ball.. the only thing that matters is how you play the game. and it really doesnt matter if you win or loose. Because with life, comes death. so instead of worring about what life is going to throw at you next, just focus on what YOU can do with your life. Its all about perspective. And when you look back at all the horrible trauma you have went through, you will be able to see them as pain you gained strength from. I mean... look at mario and luigi. They get attacked every second with bombs and shells and fire bullets, but it doesnt stop them from getting back up and finding their princess.... (ya i know its just a silly game, but this silly game taught us all its ok to get hurt, you just have to find the right people in your life to help you along the way. And not always will they know what to do,, so thats when you have to help yourself!) Its really hard to think happy thoughts when the world as you know it has fallen apart, but i can promise you it does get easier. Herpes, babies, allergies, funerals, jobs, vehicles, school.... etc.. etc.. Make a list. With a pen and a piece of paper, of all the things that make you smile. next to that list write all the things that used to make you smile 5 years ago. then make a list of things that made you smile as a child. Take a moment and look at ALL THE THINGS THAT HAVE MADE YOU HAPPY!!!!! Now some of these things you may not be able to get back, but the beauty of it all is that you can keep those memories for as long as you want. Hope this helps a lil! Chin up!

Never had flu symptons... never get tingles. it either just appears. Or if im lucky i get the itchy feeling a little bit..

As far as i know theres no meds. but i also heard that once 5 to 7 yrs have passed without a wart o.b. its "gone" I personally dont know if that mean gone for good. Or just gone wont make an appearance again. i havent had any trouble since 7 and a half yrs ago with it. Andd i might be wrong again... but i dont believe the wart strain is the cancer strain. i didnt /havent run into a cancer situation.

I have hpv and ghsv2. Was diagnosed 7 yrs back with warts. Got treated. Hasnt ever come back. theres a number of strains to this virus too... does she kniw which one she has? Some cause cancer. Others cause warts. And some dont really do anything.. I see your concern, but for me it hasnt caused complications in the big picture at all. (Im almost 25)

Pffftt! I had hpv - warts. and now i have hsv2-g... Sure i was devistated 7 yrs ago with the hpv thing.. and hell ya i was a wreck with hsv.. but both are very managable. We are all just a bunch of warriors trying to cope with devistation. you'll heal in no time!! (Emotionally)

First o.b. one tiny sore. 2nd o.b. shooting pain thru a vein (that one killed me!) 3rd o.b. itchy perinium. 4th o.b. small cluster. 5th o.b. small red bumps resembling mosquito bites on perninium. 6th o.b. one tine sore just as the first. But i was a little iychy before it came so i doubled up on meds for 3 days. Barely noticed at all! So 3 areas... 5 different symptons... and still learning! Haha As Dancer said.. everyonr is different

Oh ya lather away! Im sure @WCSDancer2010 will be here soon.. as she has alot of helpful links! But showering with soap is always a good thing. And yes the soap usually kills the virus right away. I usually clean every where with soap.. rinse.. then a quick handwash after when i have an o.b. just so i dont accidentally touch it then my eyes (i wear contacts so im always rubbing my eyes haha..) If u have a blow dryer at home.. u can use it to dry that area too..

Hello hello!! So i.m.o..... i dont think uve passed it to another area. i say this because since january whrn i was diagnosed ive ha 6 o.b. and 5 of then have been different symptons. 3 different spots. Its alot to do with where the virus entered. It could have entered in 1 spot. Or 3.... (like mine) So i dont think uve done anything to transfer it. As for the o.b. itself? Ive used a tiny bit of lydocain jelly 2%. Was 15 bucks (in Canada). And just over the counter. It helpes numb the nerve a bit for a cple hrs. make sure u keep the area clean. And dry. and get lots of rest!!
