I have missed my dose a couple times, because I forget.. Nothing happens. I just have to continue to remind myself to take it.

((: I look up to my parents so much. My dad was the one who told me that there is a man out there with or without herpes that would love to be with me. That he has been with my mom 22 years and she never passed it. They never used condoms either.. They were just very careful and safe !

This is great.. It's not a death sentence. Exactly if you put your own negativity into something, then I believe that everyone else is going to put their negativity in. I remember having a conversation about how you act if you have a positive outlook and a positive vibe then most others around you will have a positive outlook on those things.. I remember always talking about my weight.. Because on TV you always see these super super skinny girls, and then I realized I am healthy. I am me. I am just the way I am supposed to be.. So are you !

I talked to my boyfriend and he said " I made it clear that I want to stay with you, no matter what you find out I will still be here.. " he is such a big support.

I am pretty sure there is still a percentage of passing Herpes on aciclovyr or other suppressants.

I am very irritated, because I want to see those results with my own two eyes.. not with my ears. The lady already accidentally told me I was negative for everything and mistaken the fact that I was positive for HSV-2

Well I am looking on my records on paper in my hand right now.. They ordered an HIV test.. I don't have the results for that.. But didn't get other Hepatitis even though I specifically ASKED for all three.

I called them.. Asked them. Said they will have a nurse call me back, and they will order tests for the test's I did not get.

So I looked at my test results and I don't have the results for HIV.. Hep A/B.. Or Ghonorrea.. && I am starting to get very irritated with the medical system.

I agree with Dancer completely.. You are beating yourself up over the fact that they know.. I know you probably haven't wanted any one else to know, but you are not alone. Remember some of those people might have it also.. Also like she said YOU are in control of how YOU think. (: I remember saying to many people, I had a friend who decided to tell everyone about my herpes. Some people asked me questions and some people were mean to me.. I just decided to push all the negative people out of my life, but told them I will still be there if they do have any questions eventually. The fact is.. it doesn't matter who knows.. I kind of do a guessing game.. Every 5 people I guess who has it.. It makes me laugh a bit. Also I was in a movie the other day.. && they made an awful Herpes joke.. I saw several people look around like " Do they know ?" Or they look uncomfortable.. I was like " Yeah I know." It's really not bad. Especially if they are supportive.

Don't repeat the same mistake twice ! It is no longer a mistake. I don't know if that is a quote, but I just thought I would put it in here.

My mother also had herpes.. I did not get it from my mother. The doctor said the chance of that is very low.. My mother had a c section. Also ask your girlfriend to go get tested for this.. and be honest with her.. Tell her that you have herpes, but don't freak out or anything and try to blame her. Say that you just want to make sure she is okay.. Honestly with this there is no way of telling who you got it from.. This virus is tricky like that. If it is dormant it would not come back negative.. && I especially wouldn't be worried if your mother has type 2 as you have type 1

Well.. There is nothing to be ashamed of. We are human and we are amazing !

I really really like your mindset.. I really look up to you, because I know it was so hard.. I thought the same thing. I am stuck with this.. Might as well make the best of it !

Well hello there. (: I am Victoria (Megan). It is nice to meet you. This is a great place and I am extremely glad I found it. I have only been on here for about a month now, but I have known that I have had HSV-2 for 2 months. I suspect that I have had it longer ! I love that you are fully open about your life and the situations you have been through. It gives me some input on what could and could not happen. Not that I want to base my life off someone elses. I am with a guy who has known since I found out. He is extremely supportive of me, and he helps my find out about as much info as he finds out. I let him know everything I found out. I am so glad that I have had him, because in the two months he has helped me grow so much and not get scared of these little buggers ! Hello Moonsigngirl I think it is great that you didn't feel ashamed.. I wish I didn't end up feeling that way about myself when I found out that I had HSV-2.. It's all about the stigma.. Obviously the stigma didn't get to you. I have never been married, but I know from watching other peoples marriage, that never stay in a marriage that you are unhappy in.. I agree with dancer.. I am sorry that I don't have much to say. (:

I remember that I had my bumps downstairs.. But they couldn't see anything that was worth swabbing, mine were underneath the skin. I was diagnosed by blood test.. Since then I still get them sometimes in the same spot, but everytime I go to the doctor she doesn't see anything because those suckers keep hiding.
